Operation and Maintenance of Power Plants
Our current operational capacity stands at 540 MW, spanning both Sri Lanka and Bangladesh and encompassing both thermal and renewable power plants.
Lakdhanavi Limited, a prominent member of the LTL Group, is the primary company responsible for delivering Operation and Maintenance (O&M) services to power plants. Since Lakdhanavi’s first power plant commissioning in 1997, the company has solidified its position as a leading O&M contractor for power plants. With a wealth of technical expertise and experience, Lakdhanavi is fully equipped to manage the O&M functions of both renewable and thermal power plants in Sri Lanka and international markets.
Lakdhanavi holds ISO 9001 certification for Quality Assurance Systems, ISO 14001 for Environmental Management Standards, and ISO 45001 for Health and Safety Management Systems, affirming our commitment to high standards across all facets of our operations. Notably, Lakdhanavi’s O&M services for the West Coast power plant earned the prestigious Distinction of the British Safety Award in 2021, recognizing our unwavering dedication to plant safety. This marked a historic achievement as the first Sri Lankan entity to receive such recognition. Moreover, Lakdhanavi was selected as the country winner for Bangladesh in 2021 for its outstanding power plant O&M work, earning recognition at the Asian Power Awards.
Combined, Lakdhanavi and Infra & Engineering currently manage a total operational capacity of approximately 540 MW. This capacity is set to further increase to 890 MW upon Lakdhanavi assuming the O&M responsibilities for the Sobadhanavi power plant in Sri Lanka, following its commissioning.
